Hi ,

"If you fail to plan, you’re planning to fail." This is a saying that I heard many, many years ago, and that I have always held near and dear to my heart.

When it comes to my nutritional meal plan, it’s no exception. I’m a big believer that if you wait until you’re hungry in order to find food, you’re setting yourself up for diet failure.

Many of my clients perceive my ability to "stick with my diet" as my having exceptional discipline. The reality is, that if I get hungry enough, I will eat things that are not on my diet – like junk food.

That’s why I always carry my food with me each day. About twice per week, my wife Robin helps me to prepare grilled chicken breasts, rice, potatoes, and vegetables, along with other ‘lean body approved’ foods.

She places meal-sized portions of these foods into containers, which are then refrigerated. Each morning before I go to work at Labrada Nutrition, I select a couple of these meals and place them in my cooler. Later in the day, I’ll pull a meal out, pop it into the microwave, and then eat.

This allows me to eat healthy and stay away from foods that are not on my diet. Planning meals and packing food is not an idea that I’ve just recently adopted either. In fact, I can tell you that way back when I discovered bodybuilding in my teenage years, I had enough sense to carry cans of water-packed tuna along with bananas in my lunch kit.

I would take that lunch kit with me wherever I went. After a day at the beach, when my friends went to a fast food place to eat, I would simply pull out my tuna and eat it straight out of the can. This habit of mine bore the brunt of many good-natured jokes. I’d just wink "and" tell them that I was allergic to junk food. Of course, this elicited even more laughter. In retrospect, however, I’m glad that I developed this habit early on.

This week I want to encourage you to plan your meals ahead of time. We cover this meal planning in our free 12-week Lean Body Transformation Program. If you don’t already have your copy, you can get one by clicking here.

LEAN BODY TRANSFORMATION OF THE WEEK MOTIVATION
Jason Lipp lost 14 lbs & 7% Body Fat

"By the end of the challenge, I was able to break some personal strength records. Certain lifts and cardio became easier and easier as time progressed. Emotionally, I felt unbreakable, which is a huge aspect of changing your whole lifestyle...feeling you can accomplish anything.

I think I represent and encourage the common man, the person that doesn't do this for a living. When people see someone they can relate to, it gives them hope and motivation to take the challenge as well. It shows them you don't have to be a professional bodybuilder or fitness model to get into great shape, and Labrada products can help you dramatically in obtaining whatever nutrition goals you may have.
