Hi ,

I recently attended the American Fit Expo in Houston, where we had a Labrada Nutrition booth.  As I was meeting and greeting fans, handing out free samples of Lean Body and signing autographs, I met a very nice gentleman by the name of Kirk Lidgard.

Kirk told me about his journey of 6 1/2 months during which he had dropped 88 pounds, using a sensible diet and our Labrada Nutrition products. I was so inspired by this that I wanted to share his story. You’ll see his pictures below.
Kirk Lost an Amazing 88 lbs. in 6 1/2 Months!
What struck me about this was that Kirk had not lost his weight using an extreme diet or by cutting out all his carbs. He had used a balanced diet, that provided correct amounts of protein, carbs, and fats, much like the diet that we promote in the free 12-week Lean Body Transformation Guide. Kirk did not lose the weight in a short amount of time either. Even though his weight loss was significant, he accomplished it over a period of 6 1/2 months. In fact, this amounted to about 13 1/2 pounds per month or 3 pounds per week.
No small feat, but he was consistent.

Kirk told me that he started working out on a regular basis, and so has his wife. It just goes to show you that when you set a goal and work a plan consistently over time, the results can really add up. Too often we are looking for quick fixes and we fail to realize that it took us months and even years to get into the bad shape we’re in.

So this week, I want to encourage you to be patient and keep working your exercise and nutrition program to the best of your ability. Realize that it never happens as fast as you would like, but if you stick with it the results will come.
