can do anything for 12 weeks" But after the 12 weeks, I knew I wanted to
make this new body to keep. I would also like everyone to know that
thanks to the challenge I completed a goal of mine and won a figure

In
starting this challenge, I was both excited and scared. Excited to find
the fit person inside of me but scared that I had made this 3 month
commitment and the results depended completely on me.
As I was driving home after I saw my before and
after photos I just started crying. I wasn't expecting so many emotions
to pour out of me. I felt like I was finally able to let go of the
negative self image I have been carrying around. It wasn't because other
people saw my photos and told me I looked good...it was because I
fnally saw a beautiful, strong woman and I was proud of myself. I felt
like the negativity was released from me forever.

As
one gets older, as in my case over fifty, it gets tougher, more
challenging to get into and stay in good physical shape. The
responsibilities of life, the aches and pains of not only working out
but aging and the fact our bodies do not recover as quickly as they once
did in youth, becomes discouraging. But one nail at a time builds the
structure. And one rep at a time builds the body.
