more about these amazing individuals. For now, it is my
great pleasure to introduce to The Grand Champion
for the New Years 2007 Lean Body Challenge:
Jeff
Havens , of League City, Texas!
In
just 12 weeks, Jeff lost 17.5 pounds and dropped his body
fat to 6.8%. Here's what he had to say about his experiece:
Words
cannot fully express the wide range of emotional
and physical successes that this challenge has presented
to me during the past 12 weeks. I have achieved
more than I ever expected. I have stayed focused
this entire 12 weeks in all aspects of my life.
As funny as it sounds; I finally had the confidence
to go sleevless in the gym. But, overall the largest
emotional impact has been the way I see myself as
a person. I honestly feel like I have made positive
lifestyle changes that will allow me to conquer
any of life's challenges. |
Congratulations,
Jeff!

Everyone
can see my physical transformation, but the emotional changes
that this challenge evoked are much larger. The obvious
change has been in my self-confidence. I was already an
outgoing person, but I now feel so much more confident in
everything I do. I have even decide to pursue a degree in
counseling, which I haven't thought about since my child
was born. Thanks for the opportunity! I would not have reached
this level of change without the motivation the challenge
provides! |
Jason

Jason
lost 11 pounds and more than 3 inches off the waist
on the Lean Body Challenge program. |

Although
my weight was not changing, I knew what I was doing was
working, becuase I could see the changes in my body and
I had to move to a smaller notch on my belt. At 10 weeks,
I really saw the difference and at that moment I knew all
the time and taining were really paying off. With this challenge,
not only did I achieve a great physical transformation but
I have learned and am now practicing healthy eating options
as part of my regular routine. |
40 - 49 Division

Doyle
lost 30 pounds and 10% body fat on the Lean Body

I
would never have believed that such changes were possible,
especially because I was not an athlete in my younger
days. I was able to shed 30 pounds (10 more than projected),
dropped from a jean size of 36 to a size 30, and dropped
10% body fat (2% more than projected). I am indeed proud
of all that I have accomplished so far in my 12 week challenge
and plan on taking my accomplishments and new abilities
to an all-new level. |

When
no one believes in you, God does!
Struggles
were a dialy occurence...but I had the answers.
- Spirit-
Trying to believe I could do it. I just did
it!
- Mind-
Negative thought bombardment. Only positive
thoughts.
- Body-
Aches and pains---too old. Plenty of rest and
right foods.
The
belief in myself motivated me. I am happy with the foundation
I have laid and will continue to build upon it. |

Once
in awhile, a special Lean Body Challenge candidate comes
along that we feel has overcome amazing obstacles and
made such positive strides in their life that they get
our Most Inspirational award. We reserve this category
for just a few candidates and it is a special award to
us. This time around we had a Lean Body Challenge candidate
who truly moved and inspired all of us. Here is Tony Clingaman
in his own words.
"In
1997, I had major back surgery where screws and rods were
used to fuse my lower back. No one thought that I would
ever be able to do physical work, much less build the
body that I have. This program has allowed me to overcome
impossible challenges, including squatting over 200 lbs."
